David's 5th Birthday!

David had three birthday parties this year. The first was with Grandpa and Grandma in Olympia. They gave David a blue bike which he loves!
Our big David is such a joy and help to have around the house. He is enjoying starting an informal homeschool kindergarten. He absolutely loves numbers! David is a wonderful big brother who most of the time is very loving to his younger brothers. We are so blessed to have him in our lives!

On his actual birthday he had candles to blow out at each meal plus a fun party with friends.

For those who didn't know, we announced right after Anna's wedding and then after Carolyn's party to our families that we were expecting our 4th baby. At 10 weeks the baby was miscarried. We are sad to loose our precious fourth baby, but are so comforted by the Lord. He prepared us for this with the pregnancy being so different (no morning sickness). Our God is so loving and caring and we definitely have felt His compassion during this time.
