Baby Anna!

Anna Michelle McNicol arrived at 12:01 am Sat., Aug. 28th. She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 19 1/4 inches long. Everything went well with the birth and we're excited to be home enjoying our beautiful baby girl! Praise God for the miracle of a new life, our own baby girl!

My first words when she was born were: "It's a girl?" I was just making sure!

Anna is a great nurser. She latched on right away when she first tried.

Grandpa Kim took care of the boys during the day and they had fun with lots of treats - including Krispy Kreme!

David is very interested in holding Anna, looking at her and talking to her. Benjamin is somewhat interested and James hardly at all.

Anna's cousin, Macey, was born 16 days before Anna. She and Aunt Erica (who's birthday Anna was born on - the 28th) visited us at the hospital.

Aunt Erica decorated outside with lots of pink balloons. It feels so good to be home! Jonathan is taking two weeks off which is a huge blessing!

Oregon Coast Brandt Trip

At the Tillamook Cheese Factory (where ice cream was a hit).

Anna and Bradley announce they are expecting their first baby Feb. 4th!

Some Serious Chess

Portland Trip

Jonathan's work had him down in Portland for a 4 day week and the whole family got to go. While Daddy worked we had fun visiting the rose garden, riding on the zoo train and going to the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry).

Church Fishing Cookout

Our church had a cookout in the country with a stocked pond. The boys had a great time catching little fish. James got to be pretty good casting the toy pole. Thankfully, there were two nice guys who helped the boys put the worms on, cast, catch and release the fish!

Mt. Rainier

Some family time at the most beautiful mountain! Jonathan's mom and grandpa joined us. The most interesting part for the boys seemed to be the little stream near where we ate lunch.

Cubbies Awards

Our two proud Cubbies! AWANA is like a boy/girl scout club where kids learn Bible verses to earn patches. The boys love it and will be going again this fall - this time Benjamin in his second year of Cubbies and David starting Sparks.
